NEPSE set the data usage fee; how much for what purpose?
The Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, 2077 data usage policy, is now in place. NEPSE has established the new data usage fee following the protocols put in place.
Any NEPSE data user shall disclose to NEPSE the explicit purpose of using the data and submit an application to NEPSE with documents as per Schedule 1 of the same procedure. This requirement is stated in Section 4 of the NEPSE Data Usage Procedures for entities interested in obtaining data generated through the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) trading system. The willing data users will be active because a provision will need to be made. NEPSE has asked that applications for 2079/80 be submitted within 30 days of this notification’s release date.
(1) for use by banks, financial institutions, investment firms, and financial analyst firms; (2) for the commercial and redistribution needs of data distributors, firms that create financial instruments, etc.; (3) for media news needs; There are five different categories for (4) non-commercial educational and research use (for colleges, universities, non-profit research institutions, etc.) and (5) for foreign businesses.
