Upcoming IPO In Nepal: Dish Media Network To Issue 2.4 Million Shares For Public

There is good news for investors because DishHome will soon issue 2.4 million shares to the general public. The issue’s value is Rs 23.86 Crore. The company has applied to the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) for an initial public offering (IPO) on August 30, 2077. DishHome is a business created through the merger of two private television service providers, Dish Nepal and Home TV. “DishHome” was created when Dish Nepal and Home TV combined. The Prabhu group, Global IME group, and other partners formed a joint venture to create a company that offers wireless television services across the country.

When SEBON approves, the company will float 23,85,929 shares in the public offering. The IPO issue amounts to Rs 26.86 crores at face value of Rs 100. Dish Media Network Limited has named Global IME Capital Limited as the IPO’s issue manager.

Dish Media Network Limited is a publicly held company in Nepal’s media and entertainment industry. The Kathmandu-based company was founded in 2010. It owns Dish Home, Nepal’s first direct-to-home (DTH) television service provider. Dish Home provides a wide selection of television channels, including local and international channels and on-demand content. Dish Media Network Limited, in addition to its DTH service, operates a cable television service, a broadband internet service, and a digital content production and distribution business.
